I will bring to this office my expertise in education, civic engagement, and equitable economic development. My life experiences growing up in a community that has continuously been disenfranchised and underserved provides me with a unique perspective of what needs to change. I will lead with integrity and restore a healthy relationship between elected leadership and the people we serve. I will maintain my track record of bringing resources to our communities, transforming our schools from average to exceptional, developing infrastructure to work with residents and other agencies to make our communities safer, and exploring innovative funding solutions to empower residents to support their families.
The future of this city depends on public servants who truly serve the public and champion honest and sustainable development. I’m running to be your alderman because I know we can do better - but I need your help.
